Blocks are small, reusable pieces of content. There are two types of blocks available on most Trinity Drupal sites: A Basic block and a Footer block. The latter is reserved for the footer of the site, and there will only be one block of this type on any given site. It is comprised of five columns; the first houses a logo and contact information, while a list of related links can be added to the additional four columns.
The placement of blocks – on which page(s) and where on the page – is centrally managed by Trinity Communications and Trinity Web Support, but the content can be modified by site editors, with a few exceptions. A list of blocks which can be updated by site editors can be found in the Block Library; a link to this page can be found in the Shortcuts menu.
Please see the Managing blocks how-to for full instructions.
