Video content can be added to your site provided your videos have been uploaded to either YouTube or Vimeo. Videos must include captioning, a requirement to meet Duke Web Accessibility Guidelines.
- Go to the page or block where you want to add a video
- Click the Edit tab
- Place the cursor in a rich text field (e.g. the Body field) where you wish to add the video
- Click the Embed Video button
- You can select an existing video that has been previously uploaded under the Library tab
- OR You can add a new video under the Add New YouTube or Vimeo Video tab
- For a new video, provide a name, the video URL. The optional Video Description field will only be shown as a caption under a video when it is used in a Video Gallery Paragraph.
- Click Save Video, then click Next
- Select a display mode for your video, Wide (full-width in the content area) or Medium (75% of the width of the content area). Video elements are intended to fill the width of the content area, and as such, the alignment options do not apply.
- Save the change to the page by clicking Save
