When you log in to edit content on a Trinity website, you create a Shibboleth session using your NetID credentials. For security reasons, this session will expire after 30 minutes of inactivity, logging you out of the site.
If you start making changes but don’t save them before your session expires, your changes will be lost. The system doesn't track or register modifications as you make them, and only checks for an active session when you click the Save button. If your session has expired, you will encounter an “Access Denied” error and lose any unsaved work.
To prevent this, we recommend saving your changes regularly, just as you would when editing any document.
